Northlane Coffee partnered on a full identity system intended to elevate their positioning from a local café into a premium specialty coffee brand capable of expanding into retail and wholesale distribution. The core challenge was to create a brand that felt warm and inviting while still appearing refined and professional enough to stand confidently on shelves alongside established competitors.


The process began with discovery sessions focused on audience perception, product differentiation, and long-term business ambitions. From these insights, the visual direction leaned toward earthy tones, confident typography, and a simple but recognizable symbol that could scale across packaging, signage, and digital environments. Special consideration was given to packaging structure to ensure product names, roast levels, and tasting notes remained clear even in small formats.


The final system included logo variations, packaging layouts, café signage, menu templates, and social media visual guidelines. After launch, the brand enabled Northlane Coffee to present a cohesive and premium image, helping them secure new retail placements and strengthen customer loyalty through consistent visual storytelling.
